Questions about Homeopathy

  • What is Homeopathy?
    Dr. Hahnemann, a German physician, made the first discovery of the scientific principles known as homeopathy over 200 years ago.  It is based on the premise that certain natural substances are able to stimulate the body’s own healing mechanisms, allowing the body to heal itself.  After symptoms of a condition have been alleviated, homeopathic remedies can work to reestablish internal order at the deepest levels.  Because very small doses are used, healing is accomplished without negative side effects. Homeopathy follows the principle of “Like Cures Like” which means that a substance which can cause certain symptoms in a healthy individual when taken in large doses can cure those same symptoms when taken in small doses.  As an illustration, a dilute yet medically active homeopathic medicine from onions can relieve the symptoms of teary eyes and a runny nose.  Western medicine uses this principle in vaccination therapy where small amounts of a toxin are used to stimulate the body’s reaction against that toxin.
  • Are Homeopathic remedies safe for children?
    Yes, homeopathic remedies are almost invariably safer than their allopathic counterparts. However, some Liddell products are intended for adults only. Please be sure to read product “Directions” and “Warnings” for specific information.

  • Where can I buy your product locally?
    Peaceful Mountain products can be purchased at many Vitamin Shoppes, Natural Grocers (Vitamin Cottages), Clark’s Nutrition, City Markets, King Soopers, and local health food stores.
  • Do you test your products on animals?
    No, we never test any of our products on animals.
  • Where do I locate the expiration date?
    Our products are categorized as homeopathic products.  According to the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), homeopathic products are exempt from the requirement of expiration dating therefore we do not have an expiration date on our products.  If you call or email our customer service with a lot number, we will be able to tell you the date of manufacture.
  • Do you use PEGs in any of your formulas?
    Some of our products do contain PEG’s, but we are in the process now to reformulate and remove these. This process started with the Musculoskeletal Gels and will continue to the other topical products in the future. We, at Peaceful Mountain®, take great pride in our people, process, and products. As a ‘full disclosure company’ we go to great lengths to inform the consumer of every one of our ingredients clearly and openly on the label. One of these ingredients found in many of our formulas is a combination of 3 personal care grade emulsifiers, known as PEGs. These account for less than 1% of the total volume of the product, are derived from a non-petroleum source, and are considered safe for topical use. Because the PEGs we use are from a castor oil source, they do not contain any of the contaminants that are of concern in PEGs from petroleum sources. The PEGs we use are contaminant-free.
  • What changes were made to the existing Peaceful Mountain formulas when the company was acquired by an industry partner in 2010?
    When we acquired Peaceful Mountain as part of our natural products company we added the homeopathic components only. In fact, we moved the entire manufacturing operation to our facility so that the products would be made in the same manner as they were before. Recently we have removed PEGs from our musculoskeletal gels.
  • Can the Musculoskeletal Wellness Gels help with ailments other than those listed on the labels?
    You will find similar components within our Musculoskeletal gels such as White Willow, Witch Hazel, Devil’s Claw, etc. This crossover of ingredients does allow these products to be used for other purposes, but results may vary by product and consumer.
  • What are the benefits of combining Ionic and Colloidal silver in the Peaceful Mountain anti-microbial silvers products?
    Our proprietary extraction process naturally yields a colloidal silver that is ionic in nature. By using this product you are getting the benefits of both colloidal silver and Ionic silver in one product.
  • Can I combine several Peaceful Mountain remedies together?
    Yes our products can be combined for use. If you are using a product with essential oils in it such as our Muscle Ice® or skin support products you want to use the products not containing oil first, and then the product containing the oils.

    Your problem may be due to one of the following issues:

    • Only one coupon code is allowed to be redeemed per order.
    • Some coupons may only be claimed one time. They cannot be used twice.
    • Some coupons have an expiration date, and cannot be used after that time.

  • How can I change my account information (address, email etc.)?
    Log in to “My Account”, select “Account details” if you want to change your email address or passwords. Select “addresses” to change your billing or shipping addresses.
  • How to I change my password?
    Log in to “My Account”, select “Account details” then follow the prompts to change your password.
  • I forgot my password
    Go to “My Account” at the top right of the page. Click the “Lost my password” link and type in the email or username associated with your account, then click “Reset password” and then check your email and follow the prompts.
